How this site is built, and what runs it.
This site runs on Astro using the astro-theme-scholars theme. It builds to static HTML — there is no server, no database, and no CMS.
Content lives in a handful of plain files. Research entries are BibTeX records in
src/data/publications.bib, typed as @techreport since they are reports rather
than journal articles. Projects are a YAML list. This post is a markdown file.
Identity and navigation sit in site.config.ts.
Reports are served as PDFs from public/reports/, linked directly from each
research entry rather than mirrored into HTML.
The interactive figures are self-contained pages that ship their data inline, so they work standalone and don’t depend on the site around them.
